Savannah Jackson is a designer and Art Director based in Charlotte, NC.
Working in an agency setting for over nine years has made me realize that designing without a strategy and an understanding of the user’s experience is a waste of time. Designing things that look nice is easy; finding a truth and resonating with the target audience is more important than anything else.
Being a part of a small creative team has made me a more nimble and flexible Art Director. Daily I could be creating a brand, storyboarding a video, presenting a campaign strategy, or designing a site’s UI.
Clients who align with my values give me the sense of fulfillment that drew me into design in the first place. Working towards a common goal will build better relationships with a client and always produce better work. Some of the values that are most important to me are environmental conservation, blockchain technology, animal welfare, and social justice.
