Phase One Execution
We show the unedited emotion and mentality that drives the passionate in the OBX with short videos that strike the spark and align OBX.
We follow local surfers and fishermen with footage and photography. We put the viewer directly in each surfer or fisherman’s flow state by the style of shots we took and by highlighting the natural sounds of the moment.

Phase Two: YouTube & Microsite In-Progress
Take our hand. We will give a platform for locals who will be able to share specifics that transcend “how-to’s” and will delve into the unique knowledge that only a passionate OBXer can impart.
Our goal from this phase of the campaign is to make the OBX top-of-mind for our target audiences when considering their next vacation. These longer format videos will be on some select streaming platforms but mostly be shown in locations where further material is readily available
We will partner with local surf shops to bring anything you would need to surf, right to the beach. This will further encourage visitors to connect to try out the amazing surf and connect with the OBX on a deeper level. To keep the OBX top of mind as a surfing destination, we will make useful branded items.
Phase Three
Get involved. This step requires we lean heavily in year one on local nonprofits/organizations like OBX Forever, The Surfrider Foundation and Better Beaches. This will bring a level of legitimacy to our larger cause of ensuring OBX is kept beyond compare for all who are most passionate about their enthusiasm and favorite place.
